Don't mean to put a damper on your weekend plans, but...The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the southeastern 2/3rds of North Texas; including DFW, Waco, Westherford, Glen Rose, Meridian, Corsicana, Athens, and Centerville. Many showers and thunderstorms are constantly fueled by ample Gulf moisture combining with a slow-moviong upper-level disturbance. We already had a wave of thunderstorms in North Texas that is already prompting Urban & Small Stream Flood Advisories outside the Watch area. A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions are favorable for flooding in and close to the threatened area. If you happen to see flooding, do NOT, and I repeat DO NOT try to cross it by vehicle or on foot.

I love seeing all the rain we have been having, but my backyard looks like a lake. :D
