Thanks for the heads up watching it closely. It is on track to pass pretty close to my house.

Looks like the storm headed towards Denton is rotating (based on the velocity radar returns).

I'm not a meteorologist, nor do I pretend to be one. The above in my amateur opinion that is most likely wrong.

And all the while nothing going on down here. Nothing is going to happen either. Just a dull rest of the week weather wise.

You all stay safe in north and east Texas.

The HRRR is showing some mean supercells popping up in south/southeast Texas. That would not be good.

Just had some BB to pea sized hail for about a minute or so with some elevated thunderstorms around. It melted as fast as it came. 0.5 inches in gauge. :)

April 1st, a little cool out there for April with some snow in W Texas. Everything is so lush and green in April love it. The bright greens of early spring is definitely one of the best natural scenery you can get out of the year!

I thought I heard tiny hail at some point overnight. I didn't get up to look though. I totally missed the forecast saying it was going to do that!

Was finally over being sick and decided to go on a 20-mile bike ride after work yesterday. I found the 88F temps unbearable! How could anyone like biking in that kind of heat? I'm glad that the cold front came though last night to cool us down into the 50s tonight with much cooler highs (than yesterday) over the weekend. I love it cold now!

The 80 degree temp here felt refreshing and invigorating on my 3.5 mile run. The 2 snakes I saw were enjoying it as well. I'm also enjoying the increase in pollen, and associated allergies. The 50's today are miserable and depressing. :cold:

What in the world? Did you drink too much Gatorade on your ride?

Happy April Fools day everyone! That's as much as I'm able to do as I'm not good in fooling people lol.

After today, looks like the rain faucet will be shut off for at least the next 7 days. I'd like to see this month a little wetter since it sets up for May which is on average the wettest month of the year for Austin.

I just happened to glance at EWX forecast before bed last night and they mentioned it. I was having a tough time believing it with clear skies. But I figured they must have been on to something. They were. :cheesy:
