The forecast rain for Friday and Saturday here never materialize. Today was a 80% coverage, so we'll see if that happens. There has been a lot of pretty models, but not much action, unless you are up in OK.

We have received several inches of rain here in Wichita Falls but we are near the state border though.

The local chief met Ken Johnson was upset last night with OUN for how long they took to issue tornado warnings on the supercell that spawn the tornado in Clay county.

Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Dallas and points northeast, that's a "juicy" looking cell.

At least EF2 damage in OKC, EF1 in Newcastle and at least EF3 near Harrah. Craziest 2% day I've ever been in

Still several others yet to be surveyed

Unfortunately all I received was lite lite rain for 10 min, and a couple of claps of thunder. The radar makes the rain seem widespread, it's not. I'm at parents in central Arlington 2 miles south of ATT stadium and saw a few sprinkles, but rader was nice and red right over the house. :double:

I exclusively use the high-res radars now. The KFWS radar seems to drastically overdo rain coverage and intensity.

Yikes. Wife is supposed to be flying through DFW back to Austin in next 3 hours. Flight was already delayed so hopefully skies clear in 3hrs.

This was unwarned last night. I know they were understaffed but that's not an excuse, OUN completely dropped the ball on this storm and never even put out a confirmed warning. Really unfortunate from usually one of the best offices in the country and hopefully they don't let that happen again

All the action remains NE of DFW, and to the east out close to Tyler. For DFW it will continue to be isolated showers until the front can move closer to the metro area.

Agree.I kinda consider OUN to be the unofficial headquarters of the NWS especially since the SPC is also there.

Looking outside on November 3 it looks like a chilly cloudy day with thick clouds and light rain. Wrong! It's an 80 degree humid day with my ac still cranking. Just awesome. Vomit.

October PDO -3.81 per NOAA. We are experiencing one of the most severe -PDO in recorded times. This driven by record Western Pacific warmth rather your canonical warm west and cold east Pacific balance.
