DFW could have some flooding issues because there is a slow-moving storm over Fort Worth

I'm SHOCKED that the big snow storm across Texas predicted by the GFS six days ago isn't going to materialize. My cold-mongering coworker is talking about that SSW event, too. I'm confident that my new and improved wall will keep the cold out of SE TX.

Yeesh, the 15% hatched tornado risk has been extended west, now just a hair east of Dallas. Lines up with the 45% hatched wind risk now too. I could practically toss a rock off my apartment balcony and have it land in the Moderate risk now

I found that specific format on twitter. It's a bit more detailed on the county lines than their main map.

You can select the day and at the top legend check the filters (counties, tornado, wind, etc) and you will get what you're looking for! The graphic is from this that the SPC provided.

1924 is also the snowiest for OKC in March with over 20 inches.

That would be something. Definitely a much colder signal relative to the averages per the Euro ENS, but outside of the Panhandle region, I just think it's going to take that and probably a little more in the form of a dynamic driven ULL in order to deliver a real March Madness Texas "Lotto" snow shocker in the middle of March, but hey I hope it happens. I'd love to be wrong on that front in a few weeks. Talk about ending/transitioning out of three consecutive years of a La Nina with a bang.

Seeing some trends for a few isolated severe storms late this evening into the overnight hours for parts of SC TX. Isolated risk but HRRR, RAP and NAM all showing the potential for a few hailers.
