Is Mr. Bean, er, Mr. Fish still out on the prairies of America?

Actual severe weather will put all the bier and busen talk on hold for a while, I fear.

I bet, it´ll keep going until 1st Tornado watch, ha !

Insider for your Oktoberfest fly-in: This is called " Hoiz for der Hütt´n " (hard core bavarian slang)

I should boycott the Oktoberfest, because 10 € for a beer ist by far to much.

Where will you move, if you don´t mind my question. I´m just interested.

I'll be in the Kaiserslautern area, near Sembach.

The "severe weather" event around these parts was sort of dull. The line weakened on it's approach to Omaha. We did get a nice rain from it, a little but of thunder, and a distant lightshow.

DFW area at South edge of a tornado watch.

Not a bad sounding for severe weather, but an hour or two of at least partial sun, and temps above 80ºF (26.5ºC) will probably make all the difference in getting severe storms.

Reflectivity seems to suggest dry line entering Tarrant county now. Storms better pop quickly if DFW area is going to see any action.

Further South, a little enhanced cumulus in the Eastern Hill Country, maybe a combination of gentle upsloping terrain and the dry line.

86ºF toasty degrees (30º) with a dewpoint of 69ºF (21ºC) at San Marcos, Texas.

Looking at ABI and SPS conditions, the dry line is bulging out toward Fort Worth, but connects with an area of low pressure near Wichita Falls, and near the triple point, a tornado seems to have formed.

I am currently in Norman OK on a work assignment. I'm watching the tornado coverage on OKC TV of a possible tornado over north Oklahoma City. Gary England is tracking the storm. A chaser is driving to intercept the radar indicated rotation. They are now reporting damage on the ground so a tornado is on the ground in OKC.......MGC

Dryline is pushing thru eastern Dallas suburbs right now. There have been no t-storms or even showers with this event. Only south near Waco and the far northern suburbs where the tornado warning was near Anna.

Hm, just thought that will be it but SPC suggests increasing activity in
N / NE / OK and AR areas, but the cap at shv is enormous.

Last night some of the North Texas areas including DFW has dodged the severe weather...but the Red River areas of Texas to Oklahoma City weren't so lucky.
