Hard to tell without looking at a nearby sounding. Part of it may actually be that the larger hail did materialize but just wasn't reported. Often times this happens on big tornado days. Hail takes a back seat. It's one of the reasons why we (NWS) underestimate hail, especially if we go heavy on using reports.

There was one before that one in Kingston I believe. Damage actually looks pretty bad there from what I've seen.

Good news DFW did receive 0.45" of much needed rain.
Bad news that brings the monthly total to 0.75" and not much more is looking likely for March. In turn we will add another 2.85" to the deficit.

Love Field got 1.3". They really sparked up once they hit downtown up to McKinney when I was looking at radar
