Around the Weimar area I am hearing rain totals of 5 to 7 inches. We had a good old West Texas lighting storm two days ago. I had not been such a lighting storm since I was a kid in Midland.

That storm or a twin of it made it into Houston too! I haven't seen one that intense in years!! Just about jolted us out of our seats!!

Yea, all the long range signals pointed to a wet pattern across much of the state. I feel dumb for saying this after falling for the "cold March" and "wet April" signals, but we should see things turn wetter after mid-month and carry on into May & June.

SPC introduced a slight risk area for NC TX into the east half of OK and eastern KS for Day 4 (Friday). All hazards possible mentioned. Saturday will probably have some severe weather too, it's just uncertain where and to what extent.

Geez, not much hope on GFS or Euro. KS has been really dry, but GFS has some hope for them. Euro, not so much.

Yeah the pictures I saw from Dodge City are absolutely horrendous I mean at least our grass is green. I heard they are closing in on the dust bowl streak right now in some areas. Still waiting for that wet pattern/El Nino

Yep, the lead forecaster at Dodge City does not paint a pretty picture for them. They definitely need some precipitation, no matter what kind it is.

What does this mean for DFW area? hoping for a quick heat up- Was able to comfortably use the pool last year from mid May-Mid October. (82-85 degree water and above) In 2021 it didn't get good and warm til almost 4th of July.

GEFS, it's mostly the mean Supercell Composite being higher than usual in Oklahoma and Texas on College of DuPage for next week and into the end of April, there is a surprise consistency with it, I first thought it was a fluke (or bluff). The Bulk Shear (500 mb wind) is also mostly westerly as well.

The CMCE is showing it too, but it's mostly late next week and the signal is looser.

EPS has a signal too, but I can only see the Bulk Shear on PW, and it loads later on TT.
