I'm fine, never lost power. The tornadoes were all around me to the north, I nearly saw one with Powerflashes.

Dangerous night ongoing across central Oklahoma. Hopefully folks were able to get to shelter in time out ahead of those tornadoes.

Appears 0z models are shifting focus for severe weather a little further SW toward the SA-AUS corridor points NE/E for tomorrow late afternoon into the evening hours. Could be a more widespread active severe weather day for a good portion of the state from I-35 eastward.

Hi-res trends have not been good for DFW and the 11z HRRR now leaves DFW high and dry... I wonder if FWD will hold on to the widespread higher rain chances in the current forecast?

The trends aren't good for DFW, but also, really looking at the HRRR and NAM the focus has been SE of Dallas for days. Not much change really, just even less QPF. Lol. Surprised FWD even acts like there is a chance.

Until something changes, I'm not buying that we're gonna have a wet spring. Late summer/fall? Maybe if El Nino develops.

We've been overall very dry for 2-3 years down here in south central TX, it's gonna take a lot to break this cycle.

Rain chances have been a little better lately, but still too spotty and underwhelming on widespread QPF totals.
Hoping for better but our typical summer pattern isn't too far off in the distance...

We are currently entering into a much wetter pattern that could very well last through May. Most models show 2-4 inches for you over the next 2 weeks. Tonight could be a very good start if the MCS that some models show blows through.

Would be nice!! I've got in the habit of cutting model QPF totals in half :( :double:

I hope the models are right this time...we need all the rain we can get. The western parts of the state are in dire need as well.

SPC has expanded the slight risk area along with the threat for significant hail for most of SC TX in their latest update.

Sun starting to break out already here in SA sitting at 81 degrees. Only going to add more fuel for severe storm development later today.

Will this early development keep a lid on things a bit later? We'll see.
