The three most fascinating tornadoes I know of are the Tri-state tornado, Greensburg, and this one.
This is some of the best tornado footage I've ever seen, wow.
But come on now, you Canadians just don't get as exited as we do here in the states.

Trust me,
SOME of us do!! I'm glued to tornadoes, and I use to like them more then hurricanes by far.

I've seen parts of that video but not the whole length of it. It stayed in the same area for quite a long time and even went back to the buildings to do some damage after passing it by. You could see the top of the funnel and how fast it was spinning up there. I'm glad there is a lot of footage of the first offical Canadian F5 twister.
As for the YouTube comments, I believe the people driving on the roads knew what was going on but why would you stop? Your a sitting duck for a F5.

That is incredible footage. The tornado struck the silo building twice, it actually reversed direction and appeared to just stay still at one point. Also, the cloud stucture on one side of the tornado looked like it was moving down while the other was moving up. Bizarre.

That is primarily because it happened directly adjacent to a busy highway (would be an Interstate if it was in the US). The tornado probably had winds of about 210 mph (using the EF scale).
If it weren't for the YouTube pictures, it would still be called an F4 right now.

Near the end of the 7 minute video it was a F5 at that point when all that debris was everywhere.

Wasnt the Edmonton tornado an F5 also, when that one struck? Just curious.

It was an F4 officially. Some evidence of F5 damage exists but that has not been officially recorded by Environment Canada.

This video is amazing....any sense on how close the passing cars were to the tornado? There had to have been a risk flying debris hitting those cars if they were anywhere near as close to the storm as it appears.

This is just further proof that violent tornadoes aren't always a mile wide.
