Another Humberto?
I noticed this earlier though, it has persisted for many hours and could bring some nasty weather to the LA coast later tonight.

Yes I have been watching since the complex moved offshore near Matagorda. A massive meso-low with an attended supercell. There is no doubt tornado warnings would be flying if it were onshore.

I think we'll get some rain from it but it looks like it will stay south of us just by looking at radar. Quite an interesting feature as it still has rotation and heavy convection, I wouldn't want to be in Cypermont point later tonight if it holds together. Wouldn't be surprised to see an active severe weather day tomorrow as Rob Perillo mentioned earlier.

Nelson Robinson on kadn predicted just a little over an inch for us tomorrow with lake charles and northeast of us getting more. Sounds like a day i could stay in bed!

well the storm appears to be falling apart, although it may still have some rotation. Nonetheless when it makes it onshore, it looks like it could have some heavy rain and small hail.
