Southeast, Texas (Sever Thunderstorm Watch) 8/11/03

Some very strong storms will be pushing through the Houston area in the next couple of hours. Southeast, Texas is under a 'Severe Thunderstorm Watch' till 6 p.m. this evening. Damaging winds will be the mian threat and the possibility of destructive hail thown in there for good measure. Read below.
Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 6 PM... Through 130 PM...a line of severe thunderstorms located from Livingston to Cold Spring to Huntsville to College Station will move south at 40 to 50 mph. Expect damaging winds and hail with the strongest storms in the line. Rainfall amounts will range from 1/2 inch to 2 1/2 inches.
