The recent cold snap cooled the ocean at Galveston to a brisk 30.7ยบ

I'm not even going to start looking at the 264 hour GFS for precip and sub-freezing 850 mb temps in Houston until October.
I've given up, officially, in my unoffical way, on snow in SE Texas for Winter 2007-2008.

that happened on our NWS site before
