Starting petroleum engineers fresh from college start near six figures, but there are few petroleum engineering forums where amateurs interested in multiphase flow in anisatropic media, or physical chemistry, or advances in extended reach drilling, or formation evaluation, post. Maybe none.

Nope, about twice as many graduating mets as entry level jobs...
