The numbers should start pouring in over the next few days with this strong cold front. I know 45 is pretty unheard of in May where I live, but they're forecasting it!

The Canadian prairies are waving a white flag re frost warnings (0 degrees Celcius / 32 degrees Fahrenheit expected here ). I doubt we are going to break any records tonight but Regina might again.

I want SUMMER!!!! We had our first snow at the beginning of October (this frigging cold has been with us forever). :grr:

Poor Alberta. :cold: ...I've got a number of gardening friends there and they are beyond disgusted (especially those in Edmonton that could grow tropicals up til this year.........climate change was making their hearts sing).

Finally the long range forecast looks to be good to go here.........I'm taking my poor long suffering tropical plants outside tomorrow!!! 8-)

Did the East break any records for cold Tropicana? Tonight I saw on the weather network that some (a lot) of Ontario/Quebec locations have frost warnings (the announcer was warning peeps there to protect their $$$ investments (re plants).

Frost warnings flashing again for areas of Southern Saskatchewan, most of Manitoba and some areas of Ontario. I'm getting mighty tired of hauling my tropicals in but I will be in great shape!!! Edmonton however is basking in high temperatures tonight.

Justin I have a feeling we'd have to get pretty low to break records here now (I remember us having the rare occurrence of snow :double: in June, July and August).

I gather you didn't have any bedding plants out CrazyC83? BTW did you grab your camera to take a picture of your loverly June dump ??? :froze: I see there are some posted at the weather network: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/your_weather/gallery I was also surprised to see how many places in Ontario received snow last night: http://www.theweathernetwork.com/snow/snowON

On a positive note I noticed that the weather network (here's hoping they are right) is predicting that our summer outlook will be much more favourable (both for us and our plants):
