Now that we are in the thick of the summer in the Mid Atlantic and Northeast, I'd LOVE to know which option you would prefer. :D

Summer! :layout:

Can't stand being cold, plus I tend to eat/hibernate more in the winter. Love the early morning summer hours for exercise, the summer fresh veggies and fruits, but like you all, dislike the humidity.

Edited for sp. Thanks Stephanie!

The heat... we have too much snow here. :(

We're on pace for our warmest July ever and that's perfect. :sun:

I aboslutely hate the heat with a passion...Not only because California tends to catch on fire during the summer, and you stink all the time because you are constantly sweating, but also for the popular reason that you can only take so much off in the summer, and I hate getting in my car and having it be 100 degrees and burning my hands on the steering wheel, I mean what fun is that?.. I can undersand people liking it up to 90 degrees, but when it's in the 100's and so hot outside that it causes hardly anynone to be outside unless they are near water, I mean how can that be enjoyable? I don't like frigid cold, but I don't like excessive heat either.

I love the 70's and low 80's but when it gets into the high 90's and in the hundreds, it's flat out discusting....

I'll take -50 Celsius over +50 Celsius (includes humidex).... I've felt both and we indeed can dress for the cold but the heat is pure misery (I truly considered climbing in a deep freeze).

Our house doesn't have A/C and most in town broke down (including the one where I work). We went through hell that summer. :( :(

I'll take heat over:

losing power for days at a time while freezing in a dark house at 48 degrees wondering about burst pipes
chainsawing downed trees off my roof and driveway
shoveling snow off my roof in the middle of a blizzard until my hands were numb

anytime

 - are you SURE??

Yeah - the potential loss of heat is really scary during a winter storm. I'm with you on that.
