It hit 49 degrees again today (tie with yesterday for the warmest day so far this year) and the snow has really melted. Check out the big patches of grass showing. This is the most lawn we've seen in many months.

I can now see the branches I trimmed before the snow fell several months ago. I never had a chance to pick them all up before they were buried in snow.

Wow, living in Miami I can't imagine not having a lawn that needs to be cut at least once every 2 weeks (once a week in the rainy season).

OK, so we briefly had grass. It's been snowing all night and day. The main part of the storm is supposed to hit tonight and winter storm warnings are out with another 8-13 inches of snow.

I know the feeling. Most of our snow here at Drum has melted (we even hit 59F the other day...too bad it was at like 5 am!), but we get those you can see the ground, oh wait, now you can't storms. I think though, for the most part, winter here is over with...with the recent few weeks highs being in the upper 30s generally (the average high for today is 42).
