Some tragic and very sad, sad, sad news to report tonight.

@FindTheTornado storm chaser Andy Gabrielson was killed by a wrong-way driver in an afternoon traffic accident in Oklahoma.

He was chasing in Texas yesterday and was featured on Dallas/Fort Worth's Channel 8 WFAA-TV just last night.

Condolences and prayers to Andy's family and friends.

what a kick to the gut. so sorry to hear this tragic news. he captured some terrific videos.

WOW! I have chills. I saw the story on Facebook. That really is sad. His information and I'm sure his friendship amongst fellow chasers will be sorely missed.

Very sorry for Andy I visited his stream quite often.

Definitely a major loss to the chaser community. So sad and so tragic that someone so young(25)and so passionate(about everything)has been taken from his family and his weather family and indeed the whole world by a wrong way driver.
RIP Andy. Prayers going out to his family(left behind a 3 yr. old daughter) and his friends.

I posted this on facebook last night and it's worth doing it here also. From every spotter/chaser in SE Indiana, N Kentucky, & SW Ohio our sincere condolences to Andy's family...Andy will be seriously missed.
