That's SO COOL! I'm flying out there on Monday to see my father and actually flying into Colorado Springs. I was hoping to see some white caps. :D

Here are some good photos from the webcams as the sun is setting there.

Looking north, with the background still lit. Nice illumination of the clouds.

Looking southwest, I love seeing the clouds BELOW the level of the camera!

Arrived back from Colorado late Thursday night. Snow was definitely on Pike's Peak when I arrived Monday evening. By Thursday, much was gone.

I stayed near the Sangre de Cristo mountain range and there was snow on those peaks as well.

Unfortunately, the skies and the horizon was so hazy from the smoke from the fires in the west that seeing distant ranges was nearly impossible. Temps were in the 70's, but there was frost in the mornings. The Aspen leaves were starting to dot the country side with it's beautiful yellows and golds.
