HOT today in RIC!!

Just thought I'd share.. at one point to day the temp in RIC was 91° with a dewpoint of 81°! The DP did drop a bit, though the HIX reached 109° at 1:00pm when the temp was 92° with a DP of 79°.... HOT STUFF!![/b]

That is a crazy heat index for this late in the month! :o I have already cooled off here in my area from my highs of two to three weeks ago (thankfully)! :o

It just doesn't end.. today.. 87° with a HIX of 100°. Dewpoint is at 78°. BLAH!!!!!!!!

LOL, your dewpoint is higher than my temp! It is only 70° here right now, talk about a change of pace from how hot it was here last week! (A welcome one at that!)

Man a dewpoint of 81....(sweating just thinking about it) That's about as high as it gets. I feel ya though It's been a long hot relatively dry summer here in Houston. That's the upside of Grace for now...more clouds lower temps...rain....but it's still humid.

Oh, we had a average to slightly below average summer in terms of temps, but above average precip! 13" above avergae to date.. We never cracked 100° this sumemr.. that hasn't happened in a while.
Anyhow, maybe I'll meet you someday Gymnast! Know where New Kent is, because that's where I'm from.. glad to be in Blacksburg though (I'd LOVE to play Penn State!).
