Morning to afternoon temps

#1 Postby Scott Patterson » Wed Jul 23, 2014 7:55 am

We've been going from almost freezing in the morning to the upper 90's in the afternoon lately. Yesterday, there was even frost on the grass when I was riding my bike past the park. It makes bike riding challenging since it's near freezing on the way to work and roasting on the way home! As soon as the sun comes up, it warms 10 degrees an hour for 4-5 hours and then stays hot before very quickly cooling off once the sun goes down.

Official temps yesterday were a low of 35F and a high of 96F:

I think the most I've seen is about a 40 degree spread from the 50s to the 90s.
