Early Freeze Bearing On Season?

#1 Postby WeatherGuesser » Fri Oct 16, 2015 1:38 pm

If forecasts hold true, KPAH may see a freeze the morning of the 18th. That would be a week earlier than the average ( http://www.weather.gov/pah/PaducahFreezeClimatology ) .

In 2013, the first freeze was October 24 and in 2014, it was November 1. Both of those winters turned out to be rather cold with some warmer periods and some exceptionally cold.

So what, if any indication might an earlier than average freeze be as far as the overall season?
