Yeah, we set an all-time record high for November at the NWS Jax office with 89 degrees. Unbeleivable. It feels more like July than November right now.

:uarrow: yeah, two days in a row of record breaking max temperatures. It actually measured 89.4 degrees at my locale yesterday. Unbelievable how hot it is right now. Just wondering if and when Mother Nature will flip the script and finally bring ud some cooler weather. It won't be anytime soon that is for sure!

I've never enjoyed nocturnal swims in our pool in November until this year. I don't really mind this heatwave but what bothers me some is the weather it's displacing...our typical low humidity 80 degree days and low 60's nights...typically some of the most pleasant weather of the year.. the same thing happened last spring when, with very few exceptions, it was strangely hot the whole season...again displacing our typical shoulder season weather...here in the bay area last spring was our warmest ever..and so far the fall must be on a similar trajectory. this makes the "warm season" of 2015 an exceptionally long one.

Yeah Justin we just missed out on a fourth consecutive day of record heat here in Jacksonville. It is insane how warm it is right now. Jax possibly will have a couple of more chances of setting more record max temps right into Saturday before a cold front finally pushed through to cool us to near normal for early November. Enjoy it because at some point we will pay a price with a cold spell from Mother Nature. This type of fortune we are having right now will likely have an abrupt change to the other extreme. I look for December to go to a much cooler and wet pattern.
