@TxStormChasers — 944PM: Emergency management reporting multiple trees and powerlines down across Sherman. Lots of wind moving south across Grayson (and soon, Collin) counties! #dfwwx

Yikes. Is that 4,000 CAPE over Denton County?

Odd, Fox 4 said it was going to weaken, what's going on?

Cape is always high the hotter it is with dews. Summer cape is always amazing but you also need turning of the winds. It's a bit later in the season for us to direct cape to svr. MCS though.

Outflow pushing out ahead, so that could be an issue with holding it together.

Hope the western edge doesn't weaken so I can get some rain.

The cell over Munster keeps showing just over 4 inch hail on my Fox 4 WAPP. Any ground truth to that? That can keeping moving SE. Don't want that and I hope it stays over open areas.....

Wind picked up for a bit and temp dropped. I'm seeing a few returns south of the line so maybe that will take some of the punch away?

Looks like most of us will miss out on it, some relief for the eastern zones.

What's your thoughts on that cell moving into Denton County?

With it now moving SE and weakening, DFW is out of it. But, nice cooling outflow.

It's been on weakening trend. Maybe some small hail and wind.

That's a heck of a training event going on across Collin County :double: my old roommates are probably gonna be like what the heck if they aren't already

Meanwhile I got to Galveston a few hours ago where apparently it's just neverending hot and dry though I will say tonight didn't feel as oppressive as I expected. We'll see tomorrow when the sun is blasting

A refreshing 68 degrees to start the day. A one day respite before the heat comes back for several days. Enjoy the nice Monday folks.

Nice swath of 1-2" totals from Sherman down into East Dallas. However, 0.00" at DFW lol

It was looking pretty good for Longview until the last moment and it pretty much fell apart and stayed west. I did end up with 0.08" IMBY, which is better than nothing.

Hey I havent seen on you on here in months! Nice to hear from you

Hey there. Nice to be back! :D Yeah, no reason I haven't been. Just kind of got side-tracked. Been in the back of my mind what's going on in the forum. Other thing is I can't remember my password to get on(?). It auto logs in when I go. Not the safest thing, but when I tried changing my password on another computer, it asked me for old password, which I don't remember.lol. Anyway. But the computer I am on now remembers my password. I'll have to ask the mods about changing password if you can't remember old one. Anyway, not liking the July/August pattern in May, at all! :grrr: Looking forward to more normal wetter and less hot hopefully soon. Was hoping we'd get some tropical precip.
