Re: Texas Fall 2022

#101 Postby JDawg512 » Thu Sep 08, 2022 9:08 am

Had 4 rounds of rain yesterday, 2nd round in late afternoon had some pretty gusty winds when it hit. I went walking around 9 and a 3rd thunderstorm moved in, then a little while after that passed, had one last lighter shower move through. Gonna check the rain gauge in a bit, but guess that's the last round for a while.

Lows in the 50s are possible next week, 40s are restricted to the Northwest.

Yep, the Cockroach Ridge is coming back, but at least that 100s are not expected anymore. (Hence why it's not called the 'Cockroach Death Ridge')

62 degrees here. Why does it have to warm back up? :spam: at least it's mid September now and eventually summer has to end

Ugh I know. It will all end in a few weeks as October draws near. I'll be in Spain for a week in October and the weather should be perfect in Barcelona and Madrid.

Got down to 59°F, and managed to get .05 inches of rain last night. I know it's not very much, but it's better than a trace!

Felt great out there this morning. I did notice that the ensembles seemed to be playing catch up with this cool front. So maybe the warmup is being oversold by the models?

Low 60s and 50s will feel great tonight and tomorrow morning. Football is in the air!

GOA trough is great in July and August. However in Sept (Fall) it is not a great pattern.

I'm thinking that the Euro is more likely because the State Fair is coming with the State Fair Storms.

July PDO was apparently a -2.86, which likely explains why that month was so ridiculously hot and torturous.
