Is the rain threat on Sunday substantial for DFW area?

The rain forecast for this week has been really poor. All week there has been rain in today's forecast, even up till yesterday evening, now POOF all but gone this morning. We'll see if Sunday pans out or bust.

SPC did finally extend some greater severe probabilities farther southwest into NE/E TX. Convective coverage does get more iffy down this way.

SPC wording is pretty heavy. Definitely glad we're not partaking in this outbreak. Big day for the MS valley.

The last couple HRRR runs and the NAMNST are more aggressive with potential supercells in NE TX this afternoon. Not all of us are out of the woods yet.

Some models pull storms back into DFW, but they likely wouldn't have time to mature before clearing the metroplex.

The rain is coming. The models have been too quick with the atmospheric transition to the more Nino like base state. Ntxw has been banging the drum for a bit now saying that we will see a much wetter pattern emerge across the state as we move into April.

Got dumped on in Uptown. Glad they formed on top of us instead of to the West. Look like they are going to get pretty nasty.
