Yep, exactly!

Well, they really need the rainfall, so this is something they really need.

Also, active Complex that went through San Angelo is moving SSW, may miss San Antonio to the west.

You meant to say SSE, right?

Daily SOI is at -45, higher than the insane -64, but on a 16 Day streak of -SOI.

There’s talks about a ridge beginning to set up over Texas during the second half of June. Sure hope not.

Even in the best summers a ridge sets up. It’s Texas.

I think the best we can hope for is a delay and limiting 100s.

Ehh, idk. There’s been some summers where ridges haven’t really been able to set in. My dream summer was 2007 but that was probably a once in a lifetime type of summer. From what I’m hearing the ridge could be pretty bad around here late June but that’s really far off so who knows. Things just aren’t looking as great for rain as I thought they would a few weeks ago. There could be some decent chances during the next couple weeks, though. I guess we’ll see.

I’m happy for the panhandle. They need it way more than I do.

I'm about ready for some more rain tbh I was in Alabama for 4 days til yesterday and it never rained there(probably the most amazing weather ever for Late May it wasn't even hot!) And it doesn't appear my car got washed during that either and today it tried for about 5 minutes and failed

Nice storms in SA today. My parents have picked up close to 7 inches this month! After a brief period of drier weather the next few days, it looks like unsettled conditions will likely return this weekend. And still no signs of any heat waves through early June! :D

May has been suspiciously quiet for tornadoes, but it looks like June may change that...

How you figure?

There is a severe weather (including tornadoes) signal on the Ensembles in the next 1-2 weeks, the LCL is higher based on operational runs right now.

Hopefully the unsettled weather will spread eastward soon. My home in Texas hasn't received any rain in about 3 weeks now.

I'm with you. May 15th was the last rain IMBY. There's been multiple scattered events but I can't steer any over my house. I'm at 2.85" for the month of May.

Anything to worry about with these storms firing over the Metroplex?

We had quarter sized hail Frisco coming down in buckets. My rain gauge is out but since it sat over us for an hour or so, 2” rains aren’t unreasonable.

This is crazy. Some of the heaviest rain, brightest lightning, and loudest thunder I have ever heard. Not to mention the winds. I honestly thought a tornado was coming through. Goodness.
