I woke up at 3:00 AM in the morning to a Flood Warning and pelting down rain. I thought WOAH! :o Then I went back to sleep until I had to get up for school...then I got up and my mom told me that the highway was flooded in parts! :o Then I thought maybe school will be delayed...yeah right.

When I got home from school there was a River Flood Warning for the Lehigh River in Walnutport...that river runs pretty close to my house...may go take a look at it later!

So...it was a very interesting day indeed...more rain possible Thursday-Saturday! :o

And this is after the Isabel remnants came through and after the wettest summer in recent memory for many ... what's next?? :o

I had those same storms come knocking on my door just before 8:00 am this morning when I was leaving for work. They were wicked and spawned some tornado warnings (dopplar indicated). The way the wind was blowing, it seemed like Isabel came back from the dead! :o

Potentially more rain coming this weekend...1-3" possible... :o

For Catasauqua, Pa.

About 3.5 inches of rain yesterday in my area. September has been an extremely wet month. And now there is a chance of more significant rains this weekend. Let's hope October is relatively dry.

Well, maybe not quite 1-3"...since only showers are possible, but any rain that we do get will aggravate the flooding problems!
