Looks like after the next round of heavy snow 3 inches in the next hour that DC will catch a much needed break .

When will the snow return ?

I think it is going to be a little longer than an hour before the snow lets up...take a look at the radar around DC in loop and there is some snow backbuilding into and just east of the Harrisonburg area.

There is still more snow around Roanoke and that should lift NE this evening.

The main area of dry slotting looks to move east of the DC area...probably passing just east or in the eastern suburbs. It may let up around DC in another hour and a half or so, but I don't think it will quit.

Not saying that it won't end.....LOL! However, it will be longer than an hour before it ends for a while.

And looking at the latest radar...snow is beginning to end at Harrisonburg, but a new area of snow is on its way into that city.

Do you have an observation site that you are using like Reagan, Dulles, Baltimore-Washington Intl., etc?

If you wanna use Paypal sure I will go for it.
But you realize that obs come in at :53 or so each hour and that at :20 we will not know the ob at Dulles.
