I'm willing to bet that once it reaches across the state to the eastern sides, that it'll lose some punch. This line over the open waters looks ominous and the west coast will surely get much more violent weather than the eastern edges. The heating of the day will be waning and you'll see a nice fireworks display to your west for sure....but will have to watch as this progresses NE and E across the state. I'm watching this area in FL close as well since most of the northern storms and squall lines have died out and lost a little.

I just also noticed on radars...a few smaller cells racing SE of this initial line and could strengthen into a few areas of isolated hail/tornadic/wind sectors. Thay are traveling right up I-4 and will be north of Orlando in the next hour and racing to Daytona....watch out for these renegade cells before the main line comes in.

Yep...I think this will last even a few hours past that! Around 7pm will be the time when all this is right on top of you and passing over.

Chad you're about to get hit buddy! There's a nice couple of storms in smaller cells racing ahead of this line and the back edge of this whole mess is still way NW of you. With temps in the mid 80s you could have a few good sized storms aside from the main event which will hit you in all its might, in about 2 hours. Stay tuned!

blah.....well that was a rather uneventful event for me if I do say so! Hopefully our seabreeze storms will be a little more exciting this spring.
