My thoughts tonight about the upcoming system have not changed much ..
However, something of note is the potential for some light wintery precip/snow to overspread NC by Tuesday night/Wednesday morning timeframe ...
The 12z ETA indicated some frz rain maybe as far south as the NC/SC border ... 00z ETA indicating a nice quick snow for Western NC ...
QPF at 48 to 54 hrs
http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/nwprod ... 2_054m.gif
Otherwise, the evolution of the storm system seems to continue to trend southward just a bit ... as some of the models being the Canadian/UKMET/ETA have picked up on CAD (AG - Ageostrophic Gradient) ...

Quick update ...
00z ETA indicating a couple of small hits for NC some light snows/mixed precip then the big dog at the end of 84hr timeframe - setting up a nasty icestorm in Western NC and maybe Central NC as well ...
More Details Tomorrow Morning as I am looking for model support
(EC/ETA seem to support each other to some degree ...)
00z GFS does not respect CAD events at all ...
Another CAD for Central NC???

Not sure I even want to track another storm that misses us again in GA!

The whole winter has been full of disappointments, and I sure hope things can change soon! Maybe the cold air in TX is a sign of things to come.

I can promise you Wrkh99 that I have no intent of ever moving to Alabama! Way too far north for me

You might just be getting the effects of that SNOW NAZI down around Ticka's way. He's been huffing and puffing al year
Hope you get your snow (and Mine too!)
