Same here, Jacki ... only 58.1° here at the moment. :o :( Wish I was in the 70s at least. :( But we sure do need the rain. :D

I can vouch for the Nashville highs - I'm 65
miles south, and, it was toasty in Columbia
when I took my lunch break, today!

2 more record highs that I found:-

Baltimore MD a toasty 80F...and Wilmington DE 78F.

That front is obviosuly a clearly dividing line of positively balmy weather and dreary autumnal weather..like it has been in Toronto for the last 2 days. Nothing but rain and rain and rain.

But also grateful its not shovel-able.... as it was in Huron SD today..they saw 3.9inches snow today..a new Nov 3 record.

Also interesting to note :
RECORD LOWS TODAY NOV 3rd:-
Seattle WA 29F tie 1953/ Astoria OR 27F

Hmmm..so pick which season you wanna live in ...and head to the airport.

Temps near 80 degrees in eastern PA, NJ and NY is just crazy for this of year. This is more like early September than early November. I hope the cooler air gets in here soon!

The "New England Backdoor Cold Fronts" mean business. Southern New England was in the mid to upper 70's on Monday. Tuesday, they were in the 40's.

I've experienced quite a few of them over the years. :)
