Some nasty looking storms over us here in Floida at the moment.. Hey, ill take it.. This is our "dry" season, so every lil bit helps.

MARION COUNTY FOR STRONG THUNDERSTORM WINDS AND HAIL VALID UNTIL 415

AT 333 PM EST NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS CENTERED 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
JUNIPER SPRINGS...OR ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF PAISLEY...MOVING
NORTHWEST 15 MPH. THIS CLUSTER OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO
AFFECT THE SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE ACALA NATIONAL FOREST AS WELL AS
AREAS AROUND WEIRSDALE THROUGH 415 PM EST. HAIL UP TO ONE HALF INCH
IN DIAMETER AND GUSTY WINDS OF 45 TO 55 MPH CAN BE EXPECTED ALONG
WITH POSSIBLE MINOR DAMAGE.

Chad - got some thunderstorms in my area now too. Lots of lightning and thunder. I think I will hold off leaving work for a bit until it lets up.

Yes indeed, Chad... nice to see this rain during our dry season.
I hear thunder to my north, up toward Ocala (and Gainesville). Impressive enough looking band of storms to my northwest, west and southwest.
The winds were gusty here a couple hours ago, lasted for a good 20 minutes or so... [before the rain and thunder was heard].
