Here is a link to a map showing my early guess for total snow amounts from 2/26 PM thru 2/28 AM in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

This map is based on the primary storm moving up through the Tennessee Valley and eventually weakening as it reaches eastern KY. Then energy will be transferred to a coastal low that will form near the VA/NC border. The coastal low would then track ENE or NE.

I'm not exactly sure about those amounts in Central and Western PA, and Ohio ATT, however, I do like the fact that you have the Western NC and part of Central NC depicted in wintery weather (alas CAD) ... overall, not a bad map, JCT.

Depending on where the line is, looks like we're in for 1" to 3". This is for Wed thru Fri, right?

Yes - this is for Wednesday night thru Friday. I will probably update this map tomorrow (2/26) AM based on the new computer model runs for tonight and early tomorrow.

So long as it's just snow---and not ice!
