Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 38. South wind between 15 and 21 mph.

Friday: Rain showers and thunderstorms likely. The best chance for rain showers and thunderstorms is after 3pm. Chance for precipitation is 60%. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 45. Southeast wind between 11 and 14 mph.

Well it's 48 now at 1:54pm, and It would be nice to see some snow this weekend even if it dont stick or last very long, my kids just want to play out in it.

No snow, it will be a heavy rain event for today and early evening, partly cloudy Saturday with a high in the lower 40's

I have a feeling that by mid January we will see a significant snow or ice event here in north Texas.

If only there was a true arctic airmass lots of places would be getting heavy snow right now.
