Looks like north of me will see some fun, but not moi (AGAIN!)
Might have to hop in the truck anyway and do a drive by-anything to get away from this bathroom remodeling! :x

Well you shouldnt have to travel too far to the north today Suzi. Either way i am feeling pretty confident looking at the set up here today that there will be some tornadic activity this afternoon into the early evening hours. Already have some rather strong T-Storms just about to move into the Dallas/Fortworth metroplex this morning. These storms should only become stronger thru the day as we get more heating and higher dews streaming in off the gulf and everything moves east into Eastern TX/OK and KS.

More on this later today as things become more active.

Hopefully you guys get more sunshine because the main dynamic forcing is shifting away from Texas and into the central Plains. The key is instability from sunshine and I don't see much of that happening today across eastern and southeastern Texas.

Well a wash out here, but since I wasn't expecting all hell to break loose, not a big disappointment. Of course, it DID pour on me coming out of the grocery store!

No worries, fun doesn't kick in here till Mid-march anyway. I need to say in bed anyway.

Don't think we'll be seeing much if any severe weather along the gulf coast with this event. All I'm expecting is showers today although the wind sure is howling...gusting to almost 40mph.
