Already some strong cells have cropped up within the severe thunderstorm watch box area in Western IA ... furthermore interactions with outflow boundaries along with the stronger dynamics will aid in firing more convection later tonight ... and possibly becoming a mesoscale convective complex or system.

Those boundaries, one just northwest of the Omaha metro area, the other just to the east, are very well-defined on the radar. This is just the beginning to perhaps a week full of active weather.

It's definately the start of a week of Severe Weather across the US. One of many of those "Weeks"

Some isolated severe even occurred over Northern Indiana earlier today. It's becoming hot and humid in Central Indiana. Almost hard to believe just on Easter we had highs only in the 40's and snow and sleet.

Now approaching 80 degrees again today and dewpoints near 60
