Folks this is about as far as I've ever seen the lake breeze boundary move inland. I mean look at that thing! Anyway, some small cells have now popped up along the edge of it.

The bigger show should be later tonight and further west.

It maybe already starting in northern Iowa near Spencer. Nothing severe yet, but these storms could rapidly intensify and explosively develop around or after sunset.

A new severe wx watch is likely soon.
