*Scratches head and wonders if the nws need to tone down the radar some*

I say that because other then a brief period of heavy rain with some lightening and thunder its not as bad as the radar above would leave one to believe. Still raining some but nothing as you would think because of that radar above.

Anything else happens i'll report in. BTW its very chilly out. temps in the mid 40s with this stuff. Brrrr.

I was in that latest watch box for S. NJ and DE. We had a thundershower come through at around 3:30. I had seen on TWC a nice cell located in the extreme south central part of PA that looked like it was holding together well. When the thunder started, I came in from working in the garden (I took the day off), I put TWC back on and saw that it's severity was compromised and we just had moderate rain coming over us. There were some claps of thunder, but no damaging winds or alot of lightning.

I see a batch going through the Washington DC/Baltimore area now, but it's severity is also weakening as well. I don't see anything else on the horizon tonight.

Yep Steph you are in the clear for the rest of tonight. However areas to your south along the Delmarva from about Salisbury, MD on south will be looking at some rather nasty looking storms in the next hr or so. After that most areas along the eastcoast should be ok till Sunday when the threat will increase again.

Radar for eastern VA and the Delmarva.

Been a very summer-like pattern last few days. The "Ring Of Fire" has been North of Central Indiana for a while now.

Except for a brief Cooldown overnight from the Boundary sinking South (Low 50) We are back on the warm side and temps approaching 86 today :)

But No Storms :( Maybe not even at all for this next week

Well the front made it south of here but now it has surged back to my north and temps are in the 80's again today...

Michael - it looks like the OH Valley maybe in for some severe weather by Wednesday - see WXJim's topic on Severe Weather.

It is a BEAUTIFUL DAY today. Cooler than yesterday - only in the 60's, but lots of sunshine. Perfect gardening weather!

There is some storm initation along the Indiana/Michigan Border as I type this, but that appears to be about it.

The front went South of us yesterday evening. The temp dropped to 50 with a 46 Degree Dew Point. It actuallly felt COLD outside.

Right now:

Temp 86 Dew Point 65

Talk about a CHANGE!
