That is not good! I hope they get those people out of harms way that are at the speedway. What side of the city is the speedway located?

Wonder how long it would take to evacuate the speedway and it's premises?!

I think it's right near the west side of downtown indy. They're racing now. But let's see if it continues as at least another rain delay is very likely soon.

Too long. There's over 100,000 people there and they are still racing! If the 2pm arrival is right, they are running out of time quickly. Let's just hope the tornado isn't on the ground or doesn't hit the Speedway.

Even strong winds greater than 55 mph would cause some big problems... and hail, too!

Ummm... Duh. ;) They should have left an hour ago. But then again, they probably aren't aware of what we know.

They need to get the people out of there if that tornado is headed towards the Speedway!

Is ABC still broadcasting or have they gone to other programming? Just curious, since I'm at work today.

It's been delayed for now...they just featured a flashback deluge during the 1975 race with the great Jackie Stewart announcing!

They might be doing alot of those past races today. Not surprising because if they get anymore rain this evening, forget about racing until tomorrow at Indy.
