TORNADO reported ON THE GROUND in NYC Suburb!!!

TORNADO ON THE GROUND
it's now just north of LaGuardia Airport after moving over the Bronx.

Only that one tornado report and a handful of 3/4 to 1" hail. The tornado must have been brief. We would know by now had it stayed on the ground.

No. Just the one tornado report. The storm passed a couple of miles north of LaGuardia.

IF it actually touched down, even if only for a second, I would think they would have at least some downed trees...
