Well, enough of the Day after Tomorrow....

If you think that one was silly, then check out the movie "Storm Chasers - Revenge of the Twister"

This movie is about storm chaser Jamie Marshall, 1996, being a storm researcher in Colorado, which had an unusual amount of tornadoes. She goes there and researches the storms to see what's causing this "strange weather". It so happens that in the end, she discovers that "rocket fuel" causes the tornadoes in Colorado near the Pine Feather facility, dept. of energy. What a laugh !!

She even falls in love with the guy at FEMA, who she couldn't stand at the beginning of the movie ! It's real funny as to personalities, but totally unrealistic as to meteorology ! Typical Hollywood !

I mean gosh, how the heck can rocket fuel found on tree leaves cause tornadoes ???

Have you guys seen the movie Nuclear Twister on TNT? Its where this small town in ( Tennessee i think ) is hit with a few tornadoes and in the town where the tornadoes hits, Is a large Nuclear power plant ( Halven-Klein power plant ). The tornado hits the powerplant and causes a nuclear meltdown where water in the ractors were being evaporated by extreme heat because the coolant pumps werent working ( Because of the twister ). Since the water was evaporating..the radiation thingy's in the water would be exposed and send millions of tons of radiation in the air causing a bigger meltdown than Chernobyl in Russia. It was actually pretty interesting and some good graphics ( Better than Night of the Twisters even  )

I watched about 10 minutes of each, could see the Cheese Whiz dripping out the sides, and promptly turned the TV off. However, when it came to the The Day After Tomorrow, I found myself laughing more than getting intently interested in it. Something about disaster movies....
