Am really just thrilled about the line of stuff edging up from Corpus. Wonderful. Marvelous. Great. Oh, wait, I need to STOP breathing the laughing gas...........

Im with ya Suzi...Whats this talk about some kind of "spinning"? Ya think its going to turn into something more than "Deep Tropical Moiture" ???

Spinning? Dang, I thought that was from the laughing gas....not sure about what if anything it will evolve into. Must stay online ALL NIGHT and watch it to make sure.
And yes, I've actually done that before. What a geek I is.

This had better not mess up my trip to Corpus tomorrow!

Looks like a little less moisture than initially predicted will be coming up. They have moderated the wording in our forecasts so hopefully this won't be a bad flooding event.

We have a flash flood watch now... I saw that on the news right before I took a nap... Gotta relax, its going to be a long night!!!

Ours sure isn't sounding any better... The rain and thunder have begun down here, and it looks pretty ominous to the south. And so the fun starts...

It looks a bit overcast here but nothing threatening at the moment. I'm waiting for that massive line to move in from Victoria.
Lyle, if you go, please drive carefully!

Yeah little brother, PLEASE be careful.
Shawn, you got room at your place should we get something out of this?

Wish I did. I got my AC working now!

There's shelter, but only floor space for sleeping. I guess it depends upon who gets it the worst.
LOL @ your signature, Suzi. I
know you're serious and I'm not at all laughing at the situation, okay? I love being the designated driver, just knowing my friends are making it home safe and others around them are safe.
But I couldn't help but think, "Forget 'Can you afford to drink and drive?' These days, can you even afford to drive?"

You guys don't like this? Come on. That's very exciting weather and I'd take it over this sunny and hot weather ANY day!

Hey, I'll take floor space if it gets fun. Plus we can always go to Moody should we get a lull...
Yeah, I changed part of my signature after my nightmare. I don't think people realize just how expensive it can get, let alone the irreplaceable cost of life. My husband was lucky, just him involved. But the financial setback continues to mount. Real expensive lesson. But hey, he's back at work now, so things are getting better.
And you're right about who can afford to drive. Even my daughter said it was cheaper to fly to Dallas to see her than to drive, and after calculating gas prices, she was right.

Yikes... some serious thunder happening here now! Just shook my windows. So of course, I need to go outside now and see.

Looks like it will stay north of me, unless more develops in this "train" we're expecting.

Duckie it is slowly but inexorably moving E as well as N. I think you will still get some tonight, but maybe not as much as those of us that are further West. It has been raining steadily here for about an hour and it is slowly but surely getting heavier and heavier and we are starting to see the clouds lighting up with lightning to our West and hearing a little thunder. Wonder how much we will end up with this evening and then how much more tomorrow as the next slug comes in???

Getting our first good lightning and thunder out of this right now, though its surely not gonna be our last. I dont think that blob is gonna quite reach this far south tonight ~ dunno if we will be so lucky tomorrow!

Well, we didnt get much of anything last night... Just some lightening and thunder right before I went to bed... Nothing this morning, and it looks pretty dry out... I am starting to think that all of this rain is going to scoot to my west... just a thought though...
