My professor passed this link on to me.... this is the precipitation map, check out Southern Wisconsin..... hence the reason why we have had flooding problems!

That's alot of rainfall for your area! Also notice all the rainfall in Louisiana, we got hammered in May with many areas picking up 15"-20" of rain causing widespread flooding problems.

We were way above normal here too...CVG (the Cincinnati/N KY Airport-closest reporting station to my home about 4 miles away) received almost 7" of rain in May-over 2 1/4" above normal...corresponding fairly well with this map...great info Shannon, thanks for sharing!
