Looks like by mid-week Houston-Galveston will see more rain as an upper level low/trough/shear axis drifts W in the TX Coastal areas.
Even more interesting next Saturday is the well defined TW wave headed into the GOM and toward the W GOM.

HUSH YOUR MOUTH SON!!!!!j/K
Unfortunately for the waterlogged, there seems to be no relief, except thankfully this weekend.
Indeed we will be watching several waves within the next few weeks as the Atlantic Basin does appear to be slowly awakening if the long range models are to be believed.

Check out the models specifically the GFS/MRF precip/slp view...

It's nice to dry out, but it gets so hot

. The one thing the rain does is keep the temps down, and I don't mind that at all!

I thought we had a lot of rain, but there still was a house fire Saturday night in my neighborhood! I thought it was from fireworks, but it was on the news and they said the guy put his lawnmower too close to the hot water heater...The fire started about 11:30 Sat night... I thought that with all the rains we have been having, the houses would have been waterlogged, but I was wrong... That house went UP! And the sad part is that the fire dept didnt get to the house till it was already too late...

I did see on the news that the rain chances for this upcoming Saturday are at 50%... Is that a hint at something tropical???
