Basically it was sea breeze storms moving very slowly and also the product of some of these storms merging together before they finally dump all of thier rain and fizzle out. Have at least the same if not better chance of rain tomorrow too. Got a good little shower at the house and a downpur at the office near Westheimer and Gessner, but not flooding.

From the radar, it looks like my house is getting hammered at the moment... no rain here in downtown Hou. yet, but at least I remembered to roll my windows up today. :)

Looks to me like http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/DATA/RT ... -loop.html this shows a lot of upper level stuff moving southeasterly towards the coast of TX and some dense stuff ("stuff"...can ya tell I'm an amateur?) moving towards the Hou/Galv area. And I'm thinking when that stuff clashes, it's not gonna be pretty here.

In more true met terms, what am I really seeing?
