I saw the cell on the S2K front page weather map! I'm so happy for you guys!!!
Actually, we're getting a good dumping here as well. We heard a loud "BOOM" and rumble about 45 minutes ago. It's been raining moderately since the middle of the afternoon. We could use it as well and we're looking to get an inch of rain when all is said and done.

Yes indeed, a month of rains like that and MAYBE...the fire danger will drop!
NOW....this sounds REALLY GOOD! SteveB...you HIT the nail on the head buddy with the Tropical Storm Blas....
.DISCUSSION...CLOUDS NOW CLEARING OVER NORTHERN ARIZONA AS LAST
REMNANTS OF YESTERDAYS CONVECTION DISSIPATES. BROAD AREA OF LIGHT
CONVECTION AND MOIST OUTFLOWS YESTERDAY HAVE SERVED TO INCREASE THE
SURFACE AND LOWER BOUNDARY LAYER MOISTURE OVER THE PAST 12
HOURS. PRECIPITABLE WATER HAS INCREASED TO 0.93 IN IN THE
06Z SOUNDING...ABOUT 0.2 ABOVE VALUES OVER THE PAST 24-36 HOURS.
GIVEN THIS...AND MODERATE 700-500MB LAPSE RATES...HAVE UPPED
POPS A BIT TODAY. TROPICAL STORM BLAS...AND BROAD INVERTED TROUGH
MOVING INTO THE AREA WILL SERVE TO FURTHER INCREASE
THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ON WEDNESDAY. A DECREASE IN ACTIVITY IS LIKELY
LATER IN THE WEEK AS DRIER MID LEVEL AIR FROM THE EAST BEGINS TO
ENTRAIN OVER THE AREA.
