Near record heat expected to reach GA/SC on Wednesday.

Temperatures on Wednesday are expected to soar well into the mid/upper 90's in Northern GA, and near 100º over the Central portions of GA, as well as a good portion of South Carolina on Wednesday ...
Furthermore, continued into the NW flow (ridge riding) around the northern end of the upper level ridge continues a threat of severe weather, and with very intense SFC heating, thunderstorms will contain significant and excessive CG lightning, the likelihood of very strong downburst winds, and potential for large hail (should the FRZ level/lapse rates are low/steep enough to overcome the hot SFC temperatures)..
Stay tuned ... I'll be back home late Wednesday night ...
