yep, i saw that one. Low-level flow over the east-central Mid Atlantic is backing from SE near the surface to westerly around 850H. That should be sufficient for rotation and tornadoes w/ lowest 6 KM shear of 40-45 KT pushing in from the west as mid level jet overspreads the region.

MUCAPEs already almost 4500j/kg, while LFC heights are coming down over the region indicative of better potential for deep convection and tornadoes.


A severe thunderstorm watch is also in effect for portions of central and ERN PA.
