LOL Brian! I wonder if any of the radio announcers actually read that forecast on the air. Some of ours down this way would have had it happened here. They probably would not have even noticed the mistake.

Nah, our stations have their own meteorologists. None of them use the NWS except for warnings. Plus the forecasts are pre-recorded and play on the hour.

However, it would be funny to hear the announcers (is there a such thing in big markets anymore?) go "hmm....interesting."

It would have been read on NOAA radio... and some radio stations do use the NWS forecasts (here anyways) lol

Darn, I surprisingly did not think about turning on the NWR. That would have sounded quite awkward. :)

Wow, that would be a huge temperature jump. Sweat during the day, get frost-bite during the evening.

Oh, boy, isn't that the truth! Too bad it was an error! Looking at temperatures nearing 95 in my area for the first part of the week, but a nice cool down by week's end.

Yea, a fairly strong cold front going to move through. It might just spark off some good storms in the area. Going to have to be on the lookout come midweek. Do you go storm chasing or anything like that NEWeather guy??
