i just won tickets!!! WOO HOO!!!

knowing a thing or two about weather RULES!!! our local AM station Newstalk 1340 WSOY was giving away tickets to an all inclusive VIP party being hosted next weekend as part of The Decatur Celebration. aside from the giveaway, our chief met for WAND Joe Bauer who is leaving the TV station was also on the air. although i called in to win tickets, i really wanted to also talk to Joe. i commended him for two of his particular severe wx broadcasts including 10/24/01 and 05/25/04. he was impressed by my descriptions and started to talk about those events. i also included comment that i look like him (which i do) but that he naturally looks better. anyways, as a result they hooked me up so i'm in on the party! i'm going to try to score an autograph, Joe is super cool and among a great team of local mets whom i've always enjoyed watching. he will be missed...
